Most web studios only ever see the inside of client projects. You inherit somebody else's history, work to their budget and patience, and rarely get to find out what happens to a decision two years later.
Running our own platforms changes that. We publish on them, sell through them, break them and fix them, and pay for the mistakes ourselves. When we tell you a particular approach works, it is usually because we have already watched it work, or fail, somewhere we could afford to find out.
It also means the unglamorous parts are familiar: scheduled jobs, indexing, payments, deliverability, monitoring, the things that decide whether a system is still working in eighteen months.
