Can my website work in more than one language?

The short answer

Your website can be planned for more than one language. We agree which pages need translating and how customers will switch between them before completing the build.

How it works

There are different ways to do this. Separate translated pages give you control over the wording in each language. A translation tool can offer another route, but its accuracy, charges and ongoing support need checking. We will explain the proposed approach rather than assume one.

If your current website already has language options, tell us about them in your brief. A homepage preview may show only the main language. That does not settle what the complete website will include. We need to agree the full requirement with you.

Important wording should be checked by someone fluent in the language. This matters for prices, service descriptions and any legal information. A translation should describe what your business actually offers, rather than change the meaning.

Booking forms and payment pages may belong to a separate provider. We check what language options that provider supports, because translating your website does not automatically translate an external service.

Tell us which languages matter to your customers and whether you already have approved translations. We will confirm what is included in your website scope and explain any separate translation work or provider charges before starting it.

Your next step

What we need from you

The languages you need, the pages they apply to, and any translations you already have permission to use.
